The conference will be held at the Craiglockhart Campus of Edinburgh Napier University. Home to the Business School, Craiglockhart campus is set within attractive grounds overlooking Edinburgh and it blends the old and the new. It was originally the site of a hydropathic centre before being converted into a war rehabilitation centre for officers at the onset of World War One. The site was then taken over and converted into a convent for the Society of the Sacred Heart and made a teaching college.
Two cafés are present on campus, the Hydra Café and the Espresso Lab. The campus hosts the War Poets Collection Exhibition, comprising more than 800 items such as signed first edition books, volumes of poetry by Sassoon and Owen and three original issues of The Hydra, the magazine of the hospital based at Craiglockhart during the 1st World War.

Transport to Craiglockhart Campus
Craiglockhart campus is well-served by public transport to and from the centre of the city. In addition, there are numerous cycle paths in the area and bike storage facilities on site.
By bike
Edinburgh is home to an expanding network of cycle paths and covered and secure bike storage as well as shower facilities are available at the campus. The City of Edinburgh Council publishes useful information on planning cycle routes within the city. There are 81 bicycle spaces at Craiglockhart, 42 covered and 39 uncovered. Craiglockhart currently has no secure locked facilities but there is CCTV throughout the site.
By bus
Edinburgh boasts a very efficient network of environmentally friendly buses, Craiglockhart is served by Lothian Buses that offers for a flat-rate fare throughout the city, Several Lothian Buses services (4, 10, 27, 36, 45) from the city centre stop close to the campus. While there is no direct bus service from Edinburgh Airport to the campus, one can easily take Service 100 from the airport to Haymarket Station and take Service 4. A Transport for Edinburgh app is available free for smartphones and offers live bus information and electronic ticketing. Information is also available through Google Maps and City Mapper.
By train
Slateford station is just under a mile from the campus, while Edinburgh Waverley and Haymarket stations are situated in the city centre. By car
The campus is situated in a residential area to the south-west of the city. On-campus parking is strictly by permit only, with limited on-street parking available in the surrounding area.
